Hazard statements:
- H226 Flammable liquid and vapour.
- H315 Causes skin irritation.
Precautionary statements:
- P210 Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, hot surfaces. No smoking.

- P403 + P233 Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.
- P501 Dispose of contents/container to landfill site after solidification.
Label special note: Contains isocyanates. May produce an allergic reaction.
Hazard-determining component for labelling: Xylene (mixed isomers). Percentage of mixture consisting of ingredient(s) of unknown hazards to the aquatic environment: less than 5%.
2.3 Other hazards
No specific dangers known if the regulations and notes for storage and handling are observed.
Note for spray application: IPDI (isophorone diisocyanate) is a respiratory sensitizer at higher exposure concentrations. Although present at 0.1-1.0% in this formulation (below the H334 GHS cut-off for mixture classification), spray mist can generate elevated vapor/aerosol concentrations. Use supplied-air or cartridge respirator (organic-vapor + P100 particulate cartridge) for all spray operations. Once sensitized, re-exposure at any level can trigger a reaction.

Section 4. First-Aid Measures
4.1 Description of first-aid measures
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. In case of any discomfort, seek medical attention immediately.
Skin contact: Use hand cleaner/soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Inhalation sensitizer with accumulative effects. Risk of dermatitis (skin).
May cause lung damage if swallowed. IPDI: respiratory sensitization may occur; chronic inhalation exposure may result in permanent decrease of lung function. Contains isocyanate - potential sensitizer; once sensitized, reactions can occur at very low concentrations.
4.3 Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
In all cases of significant inhalation exposure or respiratory symptoms, seek prompt medical evaluation. Inform treating physician that the product contains an isocyanate (IPDI) and xylene. No data available on specific antidotes.
Section 5. Fire-Fighting Measures
5.1 Extinguishing media
Suitable: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry powder, water fog to cool and control.
Unsuitable: Do NOT use water jets. Containers can become pressurized if contents are contaminated with water.
5.2 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Flammable with toxic fumes. Flash point 27 C (80.6 F); classified Flammable Liquid Category 3.
5.3 Advice for fire-fighters
Wear full protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Blown or distorted containers should be handled with extreme caution (burst risk if heated or water-contaminated).
Section 6. Accidental Release Measures
6.1 Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Wear protective equipment (see Section 8). Keep unprotected persons away. Eliminate ignition sources. Provide adequate ventilation.
6.2 Environmental precautions
Do not allow to enter drains, sewers, surface water, or ground water.
6.3 Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Ensure adequate ventilation. Product is hazardous in liquid state. Solidify by reaction with water before disposal. Contain spill; absorb with inert material (sand, earth). Collect in suitable containers for disposal per Section 13.
6.4 Reference to other sections
See Section 8 (PPE) and Section 13 (Disposal).
Section 7. Handling and Storage
7.1 Precautions for safe handling
Flammable - no open flames, no smoking. Open containers with care. Cover lid/bung with a cloth while releasing pressure. Product generates carbon dioxide gas from reaction with water. Do not seal containers that are contaminated with water - danger of bursting. Stir thoroughly before use; do not shake (entrains moisture and air). Reseal can immediately after use. Use with adequate ventilation; wear respiratory protection for spray application (see Section 8).
7.2 Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Store separately from reactive substances, especially oxidizers. Keep containers tightly sealed. Store at 32-104 F (0-40 C) in a well-ventilated location away from heat and ignition sources. Shelf life: 12 months unopened.
7.3 Specific end uses
Protective polyurethane coating; truck bed liner; deck, marine, and RV roof coating. See Section 1.2.

8.2 Engineering controls
Provide adequate local exhaust ventilation. For spray application, use a dedicated spray booth with exhaust ventilation maintaining airborne concentrations below OELs. For brush/roller application, ensure cross- ventilation or local exhaust.
8.3 Individual protection measures / personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection: For brush/roller use with good ventilation, an organic-vapor cartridge respirator (NIOSH-approved, OV/P100) is recommended. For spray application, a supplied-air respirator or a full-face organic-vapor plus P100 particulate respirator is required. IPDI is a respiratory sensitizer; do not rely on ventilation alone during spraying.
Eye protection: Tightly sealed chemical splash goggles or full-face shield.
Hand protection: Nitrile rubber gloves (minimum 0.2 mm thickness); replace immediately if punctured or if product contacts the interior.
Skin / body protection: Coveralls and safety boots; avoid prolonged skin contact.
Hygiene: Wash hands, forearms, and face thoroughly after handling and before eating, drinking, or using toilet facilities. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Section 10. Stability and Reactivity
10.1 Reactivity
Reacts with water. One-part moisture-cure product: reaction with atmospheric moisture is the intended cure mechanism and generates carbon dioxide (CO2) gas. Sealed, water-contaminated containers may burst.
10.2 Chemical stability
Stable if stored under normal conditions (see Section 7). Could produce static discharge when transferring - use earthing/bonding for metallic containers.
10.3 Possibility of hazardous reactions
Stable if stored under normal conditions. Flammable vapors may accumulate in poorly ventilated spaces.
10.4 Conditions to avoid
Abnormally high temperatures; exposure to heat, ignition sources, open flames. Containers will bulge and possibly burst when exposed to abnormally high temperatures or if sealed while water-contaminated.
10.5 Incompatible materials
Oxidizers. Water (generates CO2 gas; do not seal water-contaminated containers).
10.6 Hazardous decomposition products
Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, and smoke (on combustion or at temperatures above 200 C).
