Wood Application

This is the second time that I have used this product on wood projects to provide a durable and long lasting finish from the weather. So far so good and time will tell if this product was a good choice. My impression is that it was.

Ranch gate , pipe & sucker rod.

This is your Outdoor Smooth, Light Blue. It actually took 2 gallons to do most of what you see here, one coat. The 2nd can we diluted a bit with Xylene. Used paint brushes for the pipe, and thin rubber gloves to apply to the sucker rod, dipping them into the product, and this needed a second-round touch-up. (tried to use the padded paint mitts that are sold, but bedliner is much too thick for pipe-painting mitts. ).

A bit hard to keep the heavy bedliner from sagging/dripping on the pipe, so we would just go back and smooth out the drips as much as possible. For the few drips that dried in place, gonna use a wood rasp to file them down. We love the color, and overall finish. Hoping this will last us WAY longer than paint, cuz we tired of scraping & painting this gate for the past 40 yrs.

Also , thanks for your customer svc folks -- I talked to at least a couple of them as I was figuring out this process. Tim Rhodes

Exterior Vehicle Paint

I wanted to paint my overland rig with a bedliner paint but didn’t want to rough texture. Durabak offered a smooth texture product. I’m very happy with the results. I applied using rollers and very happy with the results.
