Durabak Cream Textured - VW Beetle headliner

I purchased a quart of the Cream Textured Color, and applied it to the headliner of a 1998 Volkswagen Beetle it came out amazing, removed the old liner and padding from the headliner scrubbed it clean then applied two coats of Durabak.

The Cream was just a shade to bright so I tinted the "Cream color" a little darker using some brown acrylic basecoat, mixed fine had no negative chemical reaction

I look forward to using this again it worked great, It had a smell but I allowed the headliner to dry in the garage for a few days before installing it and the odor was gone, no smell in the car

Perfect solution!

I searched and searched for paint solutions for my 1981 CJ7 Jeep. The original paint was oxidizing and I could not find a local or even regional shop that would do a decent job for more than the value of the vehicle. I looked at LineX and that was a decent option but not DIY and at a similar price point as other shops. Then,I found Durabak. I pulled the trigger and did my hardtop first (I used smooth for that) and loved how it turned out. The prep was easy and so was application with the supplied roller. After that I did the body of the Jeep with a textured coating. Again, prep was easy and application went smoothly.

I have had the coatings on the Jeep for a little over a year and it has dealth with heat, cold, rain, snow, ice, and lots of dust. A lot of miles on dirt roads and no issues so far. Durable and it even made the old Jeep a bit quieter. Adhesion seems totally solid with no issues of peeling or lifting. I'm 100% satisfied with the product. Follow the instructions and you'll have a paint job you will love. Thanks Durabak!
