Customer Success Story
Jake,
Thanks for you help. I will be ordering the dark green with the black sometime next week to mix the two together and make it darker. Do you recommend mixing with a paint mixer on an electric drill?
I went with the dark green non-uv to try and fade the color in the Florida sun, hoping it would look more olive drab like a military truck once faded. The truck turned out great, and has lasted the past 1.5 years without any scratches, but unfortunately faded more to the avocado color and now looks like a big frog.
Do you have any recommendations on how to attain the olive drab color? Perhaps the green mixed with brown? We also did a jeep complete in uv sand color and it turned out great/is holding its original color and luster.
Thanks for the help and awesome product! I have attached a couple of pictures of both for your use if you would like. The land rover is the dark green new, prior to the uv affecting its fading, it was stripped 100% on the interior and coted with your product in black. Front and rear bumpers and rock sliders are black coted as well. The jeep is 100% coted on the inside with black, fenders, nerf bars, front and rear bumpers and spare tire holder in black. Main body and now rollcage is tan.
